Some examples of ways we are incorporating teachnology at varying levels include:
Working with teachers who have little technology skills: Polyvision training--
We started out slow and offered as much support as possible. Some teachers had to take notes on paper and go through the steps many times with support before they were ready to try it on their own.
Classroom responders-- Another thing that was quick and easy for them to use was the classroom responders with the Powerpoint add on. All they had to do was create a Powerpoint with the questions added and the students could respond.
Working with teachers who have some technology skills:
7th Grade Disaster Projects
Students came and spent 3 days in the library researching
They took notes and completed bibliographies on NoodleTools
They uploaded their notes on Synergy (our school's online file sharing)
